EDUCATION PROGRAM

Sacred Heart School is a Catholic Elementary School accredited by the State of New York. It serves approximately 230 boys and girls from Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Sacred Heart admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin.

KINDERGARTEN – EIGHTH GRADE ENROLLMENT PROGRAM – 2011-2012

                                   .  Child must be 5 years old by December 31st to be eligible for Kindergarten.   

                                                            .  School hours:  K-6th: 8:10 a.m.-2:30 p.m./7th & 8th: 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

                                  .  The requirements which must be met for registration in Sacred Heart School are:

2.  Tuition Management Systems fee of $20/30/42* per family based on plan choice

  1. Non-refundable $25 Archdiocesan application fee per new student; $30 re-registration fee
  2. General fee of $225* per child annually
  3. Church commitment for Catholic families of $750 per year (starting July 2011 and ending June 2012).

Church commitment is recorded through the use of the weekly envelope and/or personal checks marked “church commitment.” Note: Red envelope contributions are credited to the Capital Improvement Fund.

SACRED HEART PARENTS’ CLUB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Parents Club dues of $25* per family annually
  2. Mandatory fund raising commitment of $125 per family annually

8.   Mandatory service in one Parents’ Club committee per family.  (Non-participants will incur a $125 fee payable by June 2012)                  

     

Catholic students must submit Baptismal and birth certificates or a passport.  Non-Catholic students must submit a birth certificate or a passport.  Immunization records are required.  For transfer students, a copy of a recent report card and standardized testing are also required.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

.  Full day program – Monday-Friday – child must be three by April 30th

·         Half day program – Monday-Friday-child must be three by December 31st . Four year old may enroll in half day program.

·         Full day program hours are 8:10-2:30  (After School is available until 5:30 – additional fee applies)

·         Half day program hours are 12:00-2:30

Sacred Heart School reserves the right to modify the program based on student enrollment.

The requirements which must be met for registration in Sacred Heart School are:

     1.   Tuition:  Full day program – $6,144      Half day program - $3,675

2.      Consumable fee (include snack fee) of $170* per student

3.      Parents’ Club dues of $25* per family

4.      Tuition Management Systems fee of $20/$30/$40* per family based on plan choice*

5.      Non-refundable $25 Archdiocesan application fee per new student
