   Sacred Heart’s Annual Christmas Fair

Sacred Heart’s Annual Christmas Fair is only a few weeks away.

The Fair will take place on Friday, December 4 and Sunday, December 6.

We are currently seeking donations from the school families for the baskets that are raffled off at the fair.  You are welcome to create your own “theme” basket or donate items we will use to create a basket.  Some past raffle baskets included:  Disney Theme, Lottery Wreath, Basket of Cheer (wines, various types of alcohol), Spa Gift Basket (lotions, candles, etc), Manicure/Pedicure, Brunch Basket, Movie Night (movie theater gift card, popcorn & Candy or DVD’s with popcorn, candy and a Blockbuster gift card), i-pod shuffle w/i-tunes gift card, Restaurant gift certificates, Sports Theme, Boy’s (Cars, Pokemon, Star Wars, Lego’s, etc.), Girl’s (Hello Kitty, Princess Themes) to name a few.

If you are not sure what to donate, or don’t have time to put together a basket, gift certificates or cards to favorite shops & restaurants (Starbucks, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Toys R Us, Target, Modell’s, i-tunes) are great items to donate.  The baskets consist of items donated by families in the school, Parishioners and local businesses.

We appreciate all donations, but request that all donations are new and in good condition.  Donations can be items that you have received or purchased that perhaps you don’t use and are willing to donate to the Fair.  Most of the items donated are used to create the Raffle Baskets while other items are sold on their own. Some suggestions of items to donate are  any hand made items, pre-packaged edibles, kitchen towels, potholders, cookbooks, toiletries, perfumed soaps, shower gel, body lotions, candles, decorative Christmas Collectables, ornaments, toys, games, art supplies, video game cartridges, CD’s or DVD’s.

Please send all donations to the school marked Christmas Fair.  We are accepting donations from now until Wednesday, November 25.    If you can not get your donation to school, please call and we can make arrangements to pick it up.

If anyone is interested in crafting, wrapping baskets or would like to create a craft on their own to donate, please contact Jeanette Segnini at 428.1642 or email:  Jeanette.Segnini@verizon.net or Judy Priolo at 593-7170 or Judy.Priolo@pepsi.com.

Also, don’t forget to send in any left over candy left from Halloween.  We use it for crafts at the Christmas Fair.  Candies such as:  M & M’s, kisses, hard candies, peppermint rounds, jelly beans, tootsie rolls, gum drops, licorice, skittles, mini Hershey bars, etc.  Please send in a Ziploc Marked “Candy Donation/Christmas Fair”.

As always, we are grateful for all donations and for your help in supporting the Parents’ Club and the students of Sacred Heart School.
